German WW1 Pattern 1895 Ersatz (Felt) Pickelhaube - Original & Scarce. On offer is a great example of an original Ersatz version of the famous German Pickelhaube style helmet made when supplies of leather were running short.

This version has the brass spine at rear but rolled edges instead of the brass. This item is in very good condition apart from one small moth hole to the right of the helmet plate.
