There are photos from Terrytown, New York, as the individual attended school there. Photos are of various people, locations, baseball, and more - including Sleepy Hallow. The individual then attended Princeton Preparatory School and was a member of the baseball team. There are additional photos of the school, sports, locations, and more. There is a 1915 Princeton Prep School Football and Baseball Associations Annual Banquet document, which has approximately 30 signatures.There is one ticket stub in the album as well. Also included in the album are photos when the individual joined the U. Army and went to training camp for World War I, likely in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
He was a member of the Army Ambulance Service. The album has 33 used pages.
Most of the second half of the album is unused. The photos inside the album measure anywhere from 1 3/4" x 2 1/2" to one photo that is 7" x 9". There are approximately 221 loose photos from when the soldier ventured overseas with the U. Army during the war in 1918.
Many of the photos have writing on the reverse side with a brief caption. Photos measure from 1 1/2" x 2 3/8" to 8" x 10". Most photos are on the smaller side, and many measure about 2 1/2" x 3 1/2".There are photos of the individual serving in Genoa, Italy. In addition, here is a list of additional items. 5 Cut or Partial Postcards. 1 German Document that was found by the U. Soldier on the battlefield in November 1918.
Information about when and where it was found is written on the reverse side. Apparently, this document informs the German soldiers that the insignia for German aircraft has changed. I'm not 100% sure on this.

14 Miscellaneous Items including an article. Altogether, including the photos in the album, and the album itself, there are over 600 total items in this collection. Please note that these items are in antique condition.The album itself has heavy wear and deterioration to the binding. There are heavy scratches to the covers, plus discoloration, chipping and other wear. The loose photos also have discoloration and marks. There may be additional tearing, creasing, turned corners, and marks. The documents are folded with edge tearing and chipping to the edges and corners. There is an old storage scent. Please see photos for more information on condition and ask any questions you may have. This would be a nice addition to any collection.
