Imperial German World War I Silver 1914 - 1918 Wound Badge. Measures 1 7/16" wide by 1 3/4" tall. The front shows the profile of a German combat helmet with a pair of crossed swords in the back ground. All three are surrounded by an oval oak leaf wreath border. Has a thin vertical pin back with a'c' catch.

One piece die struck cut out & stamped nickel construction. Awarded for receiving 3 to 4 wounds in combat.
