A good example of a WWI British Officers four pocket tunic for the rank of Captain. Bronze officers collar badges and territorial Ts. Above the breast pocket are medal ribbons for the Military Cross MC high award for bravery, Queens South Africa medal, Kings South Africa medal and the 1914-15 star. Single metal wound stripe to one sleeve. Leather trim to the tunic cuffs.

Standard cloth lining to the interior, no tailors or name label to the interior of the tunic, all original buttons in tact. The tunic is accompanied by a military issue khaki woollen shirt and tie collar size 16 ½, a pair of Original WWI period officers breeches, tailors label and buttons all intact Hammond Oxford Street W, the breeches have been let out in the crutch area where it has been fitted to a display mount. A set of Original WWI brown leather Sam Browne equipment, including belt with cross straps, holster pouch with bullet loops to the flap dated 1917, map board with field covering showing the fields of France Beaucourt Sur Ander and a officers pattern felt covered water bottle along with a pair of officers brown leather boots, please see photos. The tunic also comes with original WWI Officers whistle dated 1916. The tunic has some blood straining to the front inside under the heath and some blood staining to the front of the shirt. OR THE BULLETS SHOWN IN POUCH. The Map shows Battle of Ancre where the Battle of the Somme took place.

The side arm and photos does not come with the sale it is to show the character in its entirety. Would look amazing Displayed, fantastic WWI Showpiece. Looks like it would fit a man approx 5 11 inches. Shoulder to shoulder 18 inches on stand. Top collar to bottom hem just under 32 inches.
