This is a pair of leather cavalry B. Goodrich boots named to a Colonel Charles E.
The boots are from the First World War. Colonel Walsh served in the Spanish American War, First World War, and retired in the 1930's as a General with the New York National Guard. They come along with named wooden staves to him. They are in good shape for their age, with restitching required on the back of the boots.
The backs are completely split, and there is some wear, but nothing that cannot be fixed. A cavalry whip is also featured with the boots that came with them. Ultimately an amazing and very rare First World War piece. This item is in the category "Collectibles\Militaria\WW I (1914-18)\Original Period Items\United States\Personal, Field Gear".
