WWI German Bavarian Infantry Regiment in France Postcard Set from 1915. Bavarian IR 21 and IR 14. Posted photo postcards depicting German troops in France with written descriptions on the reverse. One of the photographs shows the Saint-Mihiel church in Woinville (Meuse).
14 was an Imperial German Army regiment attached to the 10th Bavarian Reserve Infantry Brigade, XV Royal Bavarian Reserve Corps, on the Western Front of World War I. Signs of wear, use, and yellowing, as well as some light soiling.
21 was an Imperial German Army regiment attached to the 9th Bavarian Infantry Brigade, III Royal Bavarian Corps, on the Western Front of World War I. Each is approximately 5 1/2" x 3 1/2".
