ORIGINAL WW1 US CANVAS BAG with Original Canvas Carrying Strap

1 US CANVAS BAG with Original Canvas Carrying Strap. Included is a picture of WW1 Doughboy carrying this exact example. This bag is in good/very good condition for being over 100 years ago manufactured. In the pictures you can see that a seam inside the main compartment has pulled away. This can be repaired; I chose to keep it original.

The material lines most of the interior of the bag. I believe it is a waterproof material has aged. The leather on the bottom is in remarkable shape for its age. There is one area on the bottom of the bag, one inch by half inch where the leather peeled slightly, and not gone through the entire leather material (seen in picture). The original carrying strap looks to be in very good/excellent condition.

The metal clips on the bag that attach the sling to the bag are in very good condition with surface rust, it is. There are two closing straps for the bag. One strap is slightly frayed (see picture).
