Pre-WWI US Army AEF Early M1910 Spun Aluminum Canteen - Original - Very Nice Condition - RARE. Up for sale is a pre-WWI US Army AEF Early M1910 Canteen w/Cap. This is the RARE Spun Aluminum Canteen. Look at the photos and notice there are no seams on the sides or bottom of the canteen.
This style was only made for a few years, before changing the manufacturing procedure with the welded sides. This change was a cost cutting decision. The early Spun Canteens are quite RARE, especially in nice condition.
This example has a only a few minor dings in the canteen body. This is correct for this early canteens. It is used, please see photo's for condition.
