Very good condition and guaranteed original pre WWI French army cavalry dragoon/cuirassier helmet. Steel body has brown patina with a little surface rust, a few spots of pitting, and a few dings. Beautiful brass comb and badge with untouched patina. Complete with leather and brass scales chinstrap. Also complete with black horse tail and plume.

Original leather liner shows some wear and one tongue has a small tear. A rare French cavalry helmet that will make an excellent addition to your collection and an impressive display piece.
