Pre-WWI M1867 Kurassier Line Regiments Lobstertail Pickelhaube Spiked Helmet

Pre-WWI M1867 German-Prussian Kurassier Line Regiments Enlisted Mans Spiked Helmet. This Lobstertail Pickelhaube has a polished steel body with brass edging and rivets. Brass spike base with steel spike has some small dents scattered throughout, see picture #12. Stamped brass Wappen of a Prussian eagle with "FR" on breast and a banner that reads "Mit Gott Fur Koenig Und Vaterland". Brass chinscales with leather backing, the leather strap is broken behind one side, see picture #9.

One black and white Cockade on the right side. Shows wear and has one small dent on the right backside. The brass trim over the right ear is a little loose, and over the left ear there is a small damaged spot, see picture #11. There is a white painted "247" on the underside of the tail.
