RARE WW1 WW2 American USA UMC Remington PAL RH38 Knife 8 inch marked scabbard

This is one of the most desirable American produced blades produced during the first half of the 20th century, and this is an excellent example in great used condition. The knife is in good condition, with a nicely preserved handle and blade which is still sharp.

The blade is marked "RH38 MADE IN USA REMINGTON UMC -8' " on one side, and "Remington" on the other. The blood groove and spiked edge are also present on this blade. The handle of the knife is in excellent condition and still shows the bright red, black, blue and yellow colors which are on either side of the wrapped brown leather in the centre.

The leather scabbard is still in good condition with signs of wear from use, and has the Remington UMC Reg. Logo on the centre of the scabbard. The metal button fastening the handle also has the Remington logo on it. I have heard that these scabbards are as equally rare or rarer than the blades themselves!
