Very Rare Collins Brush-Cutting Knife Bolo Machete 22.75" overall with a blade length of 18". Excellent leather and brass pommel and guard handle.

Blade shows some wear, use, with much original shine, no chips or gouges on blade edge. Left side of ricasso marked. "SCUSA" (Signal Corps United States of America), the flip side is marked, LEGITIMUS COLLINS & CO ACERO SINO CALIDAD GARANTIZADA NO.

" stamping right after the "37 and it's also on the opposite side of handle, and marked on the throat of the scabbard also. The scabbard is in excellent shape with the point showing some fuzz and a point hole.

Scabbard matches the machete, not only does it have stamped, F. SIGNAL CORPS COLLINS & CO. Has the fancy scroll work that Colllins is known for.
