Rare WWI US Army Wristwatch by Elgin with 1920s Russian Silver Deco Band
ARTIFACT: This is a rare United States Army wristwatch by Elgin on a silver Russian Art Deco band. The band is a handsome openwork grate design with an hourglass-like design and the middle of each panel. VINTAGE: Circa World War I.
SIZE: Approximately 1-3/8 in width and 3-11/16 in length (as shown in 3rd photo above). CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Silver, glass, plated brass. MARKINGS: Three small marks on inside of band; ELGIN USA on watch face. ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months.
