Royal Engineers Tunnelling Company 1914 WW1 Trench Art Brass Pocket Lighter. In the style of antique pocket watch which looks to be made of brass with a nickel coating in places, the badge on the front is George 5th badge Royal Engineers on the other side there is a plate that is stamped Tunnelling Company 1914, the flint is replaced by way of a screw on the base that reveals a spring inside, wick is covered by a screw on cap that fits well, item is refilled by the screw in plug on the same side as the stamped plate. As shown in the photos item works ok, normally by the first flick of the wheel, the total height including the flint wheel measures 66 mm, / 2.6 inches, some tarnishing to the finish that I will leave the new owner to clean if required......
