Scarce Wwi Royal Air Force Rfc Maternity Pattern Pilot Officer Jacket Tunic Coat

Very rare WWI Royal Flying Corps (RFC) 1917 pattern No. 1'Maternity' officer dress tunic. OD wool construction with original buttons and snaps.

Officer quality made with high quality material, shoulder straps, and pointed cuffs The tunic is lined with brown cotton. The sleeved are also lined with white cloth. Original'Sam Brown' belt hooks still remain on the back.

Original tag present in the interior pocket. Though a little faded, it still reads :'Beauchamp & How LTD.

27 King Street, West Toronto'. No name or date found. Black threads remain where the RFC pilot wings were once fitted on this jacket. Good condition with small tear on the chest, small rip on the lower right, and one side of the collar hook missing. The sleeve lining seams are coming undone.
