I hope you find something that you like. All my pocket watches are generally in original condition, unless otherwise stated.
I will always disclose in the description any faults which are clearly apparent. I try to be as accurate as possible, and include clear photographs of each item.
Please ask questions if you require clarification on any part of the description. Antique and vintage watches are by their very nature second hand, and their history and use an unknown quantity. They should be considered as in need of servicing, even if they are listed as running , and unless otherwise stated they may need other adjustments or maintenance. Covers can often be stiff to remove, and may require a sharp blade or watch-knife to open.
This is normal, and not a fault. Expect a piece to exhibit exterior and sometimes interior wear and tear, commensurate with its age and use. Please do not expect an antique watch to run or operate consistently or reliably just like a modern timepiece. If they are listed as not working, any additional comments or suggestions I make are purely my opinion, and in no way a guarantee of any kind whatsoever.
If listed as in working order, this is no guarantee of future reliability. However, occasionally things can go wrong.
Where possible this is adhered to. However, dispatch time is also dependent upon access and transport to the post office. Occasionally this may be adversely affected by unforeseen issues, and should there be any delay, buyers will be notified at the earliest opportunity. Any other potential delays will be included in the listing text as appropriate. Occasionally this can lead to unforeseen delays. I do NOT post to the African continent under any circumstances.A superb WW1 solid silver officer's trench watch. Excellent condition and in good running order. Larger 35mm silver case with twin swivel lugs: hallmarked London 1918, including the cuvette.
Stunning dial, and bevelled crystal. All fits together nicely and looks just great.
Still looks the part though. Interesting monogram on the case-back too... A great original trench watch, worthy of any military collection.
