US Pre WW1 M1903 9 Pouch Mills Rimless Eagle Snap Cartridge Belt. Infantry Unit

For sale here is a good looking US Pre WW1 Army Infantry Mills M1903 9 Pocket Rimless Eagle Snap Cartridge Belt. The belt appears to be made of dark khaki cotton canvas, but it may be pea green. The belt is complete with brass buckles, belt ends, and rimless eagle snaps. The backs of the grommets all appear to be brass, but the larger grommets appear to have steel fronts. One of the flaps has a U.

Army Infantry Roundel disc attached to it, and it has been there forever. All grommets are present, and everything is functional. A few of the snaps are a little sticky, but they all work as they should. All of the brass shows minor finish loss, patina, and is some places, a bit of white corrosion. The canvas is strong and in excellent condition, but the top left side flap shows some edge fraying. The canvas shows some age, soiling, and a few light stains, with some minor fading from wear.
