I've decided to offer up one of the prized possessions of my watch collection. I hope you'll take the time to read the entire description and examine the photos. The trench watch was in very well preserved condition and someone had serviced it and replaced the crystal (the original is included). I was amazed to find in the package of memorabilia a large photo of the soldier's troop, dated 1915, where he is identified, right in the front row, WEARING THIS VERY WATCH. I've never come across a piece this old with such direct and obvious provenance.

The war memorabilia includes things such as ration cards, a diary, a photo of a young woman, various paperwork, and a map. But the photo and trench watch is what makes this lot one of a kind.

Please note in the pictures where I have zeroed in on the young Mr. Cooper and someone many years ago put an X below his image to identify him. Then notice his left wrist with this trench watch, clear as day, 107 years ago. This is not just a trench watch, it's a piece with a unique story that you can share with others. The watch itself is in great condition, the porcelain dial is uncracked and the radium lume is all present on dial and hands.

The case measures 34mm w/o crown so it's a wearable size, and looks good on the included military style strap. And as mentioned, the original crystal and band are included. Please see last photo for research on this soldier and his record of service. I'm not a military buff so my knowledge is limited to what you see but feel free to ask any questions and I'll do my best to answer. I'm hoping someone appreciates and is ready to care for this little bit of history as I have.
