Vintage 1915 WW1 Era George Stockwell 33mm Diameter Solid Sterling Silver Officers Trench Gents Wrist Watch. A stunning large sized (for the time) solid silver trench watch fully hallmarked George Stockwell, London, 1915. It is in good condition , it is ticking away happily and keeping time but can stop so requires a service before use.

The solid silver watch case has some minor tarnishing and small marks in places mainly to rear case back. The blue steeled hands are in good condition with some faint marks in places, the ceramic face has a small chip to the centre of the subsidiary seconds dial and a very faint hairline crack near the 3 hr marker. The glass crystal is in excellent condition.

The movement is unsigned and has some minor tarnishing in places. It is fitted to a black crocodile calf strap in good condition. The watch measures just over 33mm diameter excluding the crown and its fixed lugs fit a 12mm strap. Please view photos carefully as they form part of the description. Please view my other listings.
