There are many items in this grouping and they all tell a story about Ira Truesdale a World War 1 Veteran. There is a large State of Nebraska Roll of Honor certificate dated 1921. It has some tears in the sides and many wrinkles/creases, and discoloration around.
There is an official stamp embossed. There are three garrison caps with pins or buttons on them. They are all in good shape and represent different positions Ira held in this organization.
The green cap comes in a punch with a Veteran ww1 sticker and newspaper clipping. Army certificate dated 1918 for Corporal rank 9th Company Puget sound. It's in good shape for age. There is an Army discharge paperwork from the Coast Artillery Unassigned Regular Army dated 1918. One has paper torn off front, one has address labels, and all are in pretty good shape. There is a cloth WWI veterans tie, two bolo ties WWI. Trans group, and a broken wristband Times watch. There is a Southeast Barracks 1971 membership roster. There is a WwI veterans appreciation certificate with red white blue cloth ribbons on top. There is an 8" x 10" photograph from the WWI national convention 1966 San Diego. It's in good shape. There is one Falls City High School diploma.Lots of discoloration and light damage on the document and cover. There is one Memorial Day program from 1977 Workd War I barracks. There is one plastic name tag for Ira. There is a Veterans Hone newsletter from Yountville There are two dozen or more wallet sized membership cards to various organizations including from the Veterans of Foreign Wars & Veterans of WWI.
These were all stored in a Carpenters Union small booklet. There are a couple other small items not pictured. Overall, this is a great grouping from a World War 1 Veteran.
