WW1 1916 beautiful trench watch target dial serviced & original Christmas gift
This is a rare & excellent example of a very beautiful & original 1916 WW1 era silver trench watch. In outstanding perfect working and incredible cosmetic condition this watch is beautiful , its setting , winding and working flawlessly, keeping great time as fully serviced. A new glass was fitted during the service (the only non original part) and the watch comes on a new antique style Chris Balm leather 2 piece strap that suits it perfectly. The movement is made by A Schild Grenchen S.
Switzerland and it It is a 15 jewel quality "savonette" movement , it is in exceptionally clean condition , most watches this vintage for sale are dirty & not serviced with bad hinges and cracked dials , this one is gleaming all round these never come up in this condition with mint dial , matching hands & numbers. A must for the WW1, Trench or early wrist watch collector this watch is from my personal collection and I have enjoyed it immensely over the years , it is a "keeper" & one of the most attractive I have ever owned , it would make an exceptional Birthday gift or Christmas present and it will come in a nice burgundy gift box. A great size its 37mm with crown , 33mm without x 40mm lugs to lugs.
