WW1 1917 silver Dennison screw case officers military trench watch serviced

This is a very nice trench watch , The watch is in excellent condition the case and dial are great just a hairline near 11 that is very hard to see , the glass is excellent as is the case that has a screw back and screw top bezel , These heavy Dennison solid silver cased watches are quite rare and a lot less common than the snap back ones. The movement is a very nice one and certainly very well made The hallmarks are for 1917 Birmingham. Im sure someone can identify the maker of the movement , possibly Zenith I have been informed or maybe Stauffer or Eterna? It is a must for the WW1, Military or trench watch collector Its a real beauty It measures 39 mm across 35mm across without the crown and x 43 mm lugs to lugs. It also has its original onion or "bun" winding crown , very nice all round and a real eye catcher with the extra large heavy silver case.

It comes on a great modern Chris Balm leather strap that suits it really well.
