RARE WW1 Aircraft Fabric Skin Cloth. We got this from a museum sale - they were making room for a new exhibit and auctioned off all the items that didn't fit the new theme. We've showed this to a couple experts and this was probably part of a German airplane that got shot down by the French and the French painted their circle symbol over the German cross. The skin measures approx 36 in length at its longest diameter. We also have a wooden airplane wheel and the tip of a propeller with some artwork painted on it - also from the same museum sale.
