This is a WW1 Canadian CEF 16th Btn Canadian Scottish Uniform Grouping Lot. It is all vintage and correct for the era.
Rare 7 button canadian tunic named to Pte L Riley #1 co 2nd Platoon 91st Canadian Highlanders which was obsorbed into the 16th Btn at the begging of the war. Well marked and complete with Canadian Scottish buttons and shoulder titles. Hair sporran is un named but comes with a Canada button to close the rear pouch and is made by Nicoll Maker Bankfoot on the back.
The kilt itself is named to Wilf Burns and is the proper hunting stewart tartan for this unit. The helmet is a painted raw edge brodie that is complete with chin strap and shows well. Hard to get painted helmets never mind named 7 button tunics.Nice grouping for a premier Canadian regiment that would display very well.
