WW1 Farnell Soldier Bear c1914
Fred is a wonderfully worn WW1 Farnell soldier teddy bear c1914 measuring around 3.5 high with unusual apricot coloured mohair. Fred came to me in his papier mache german peanut along with antique miniature opera glasses which I think are bone and two sledging snow babies. He has some wear but I would not have him any other way. These wonderful little bears were made by Farnell and given to loved ones as lucky tokens especially to soldiers going off to fight in WW1.
