THIS PARICULAR EXAMPLE IS A LATER WAR MODIFICATION WITH REINFORCED POCKETS AT THE HIP TO AID CARRYING GRENADES OR EXTRA AMMUNITION. IT HAS HAD A FAIRLY HARD LIFE WITH REPAIRS AND RE LINED SLEEVE LINING TO ONE ARM. CUFFS ARE A LITTLE WORN BUT LOOK FINE.
THE HORIZON BLUE WOOL IS ACTUALLY ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION WITH HARDLY ANY MOTH HOLES. REPAIR PATCHES TO THE FRONT LOWER FLAPS SHOW A LITTLE WHEN BUTTONED BACK IN CLASSIC STYLE OF WEAR PARTICULAR TO THE FRENCH MILITARY. THE PATCHES TO THE COLLAR LOOK TO BE ORGINAL TO THE COAT. SOME MARKINGS VISIBLE TO THE INTERIOR INCLUDING A FRENCH FILM COMPANY STAMP. MUCH ORGINAL KIT HAS THIS MARK' TRANOUEZ'.BUTTONS ARE ORIGINAL AND LOOK TO BE PRE WAR TYPE BUT BLACKENED AND PAINTED GREY BLUE SHADE.
