WW1 French Aviators Tunic

WW1 French Horizon Blue 4 - pocket Tunic with aviation badges. Gilt Flaming Bomb buttons manufactured H. Neck closure hook & eyelet.

Tunic overall in very nice condition with a few minor pinhead size nips on rear. Silk lining with 2 x interior pockets. Short bullion stripe to each arm (above cuff).

Belt hooks at rear for the sam browne style belt. Bullion aviation style collars on black wool. I say Aviation style as I cannot find a match in my reference books to standard WW1 French aviation collars but as a long time collector, they are sewn correctly and have been on the tunic for a long time (in my opinion). Correct brooch style Aviators breast badge, attached to correct sewn loops.
