WW1 German Luger Holster P08 LZA Karlsruhe 1918

Truly amazing battlefield worn 1918 dated holster. Maker Julius Jansen Strassburg, Eagle of the LZA Karlsruhe. The bad points are the holes worn through from wear, and the closure strap has broken. I have resisted the temptation to go over it with leather cleaner but it would bring the leather out with a superb finish.

Good points are the belt loops are intact and the markings are fantastic, also looks like a regimental ink stamp inside BAXL or 8AXL perhaps?
