WW1 IMPERIAL GERMAN M18 STEEL HELMET. BLOCK CAMOUFLAGE COMPLETE 100% ORIGINAL

A very rare & original WW1 Imperial German M18 Steel helmet (Size 62). It has its original field applied'block camouflage' paint which is mostly present & in very good aged condition. There is a stamping inside at the crown, (last pic).

It is also stamped on the inside skirt with "Si 62". The leather of the liner is all original & is in extremely good clean condition. All three cushions are still present.

The very rare M18 chinstrap is in great condition also & has a maker's stamp (dated 1918). There are no breaks or repairs anywhere. A very rare & clean example.
