WW1 Imperial German Prussian Guard Officers Picklehaube Storage Case Field Cover

This is a good condition WW1 Imperial German Prussian Guard Officers Picklehaube with Storage Case and Field Cover. To say this is impressive is an understatment. The guards star on the chest has perfect enamel and it shows well with the guards officers eagle which retains all of its gilt. The helmet is a vulcan fibre and is in excellent condition. When it was obtained originally the field cover was on it and you can see the slight stitch lines down the one side as it has been on there for so long.

There are no extra holes in this helmet. The silk liner has a slight tear in it and the sweatband shows some slight wear as well.

Comes in the transit case with the field cover and a tin of pomade which I assume is for the helmet and still has its contents. I highly doubt you could upgrade this helmet.
