WW1 Imperial German Saxon Officers Picklehaube with Trichter and Storage Case

This is a excellent condition WW1 Imperial German Saxon Officers Picklehaube with Full Hair Trichter and Storage Case. The gilt and silver helmet plate is just stunning in my opinion. The helmet has no extra holes. The liner is excellent and the inside still have a paper label of the maker in Leipzig.

THere is a penciled in name on the inside of the helmet from the original owner. The helmet shell has typical crazing which you would expect for a 100 plus year old helmet. It has one tiny flake of finish missing from the right side of the rear spine.

This could be fixed but I prefer to leave it as is. The chinscales are metal and show very well. The cockades are white and green saxon on the right and Germany on the left while looking at it. You can not upgrade this helmet. GST of 5% is applicable on all sales within Canada.
