WW1 SILVER FULL HUNTER OFFICER'S TRENCH WATCH

For sale here is a solid silver full hunter trench watch in very good condition throughout. Diameter case has survived one century and two world wars extremely well, showing that it has had careful use. Both cover hinges are sound, and the covers snap tightly. It is hallmarked for sterling silver London import 1915. Internal crystal and bezel are present, hands are original and matched, and the dial is faultless, with no hairlines or chips. Some of the luminous paint is missing. The wire lugs are good and strong, the crown is correct and original, and a new black leather strap is fitted. The movement is complete clean and winds sets and runs well, keeping time. It is marked Swiss made and looks like a Marvin. Please ask if you need more information.
