WW1 US Army AEF M1917 Mounted Ammunition Cartridge Belt L. C. C. & Co 1918
This WW1 US Army AEF M1917 Mounted Ammunition Cartridge Belt is in good condition, appears to have never been issued but does show damage from age and poor storage. Both sides of this belt are clearly marked L.
All metal hardware is clean and appears to still have it's original finish intact and shows no signs of wear. This is the earlier version of the M1917 belt without the snap button for the 1911 mag pouch. Sadly, it appears that at some time in the past a liquid was spilled on this belt and there is strong staining near the area where a 1911 mag pouch would attach. The canvas web is stiff in this area but does not show signs of further deterioration.
This is truly a shame as this belt appears to be in almost "like new" condition otherwise. Please examine the photographs carefully for the best description of condition.
