WW1 USMC Marine Corps Named P1912 Cover Eagle Snap with Correct Marine Canteen WWI

Very few known to exist, let alone with the snaps still intact and working. Marine style wire hanger still attached soundly. Two different Marine name stamps on rear and bottom for great research opportunities. Included is also the equally rare correct Marine Corps canteen found with this cover.

No manufacturers markings, early style collar attachment, "frosted" finish which is starting to wear away in a few areas. No cup found with this set. Condition is overall good with no major damage and even fading throughout that demonstrates actual service use. This would be the crown jewel of any US canteen collection and a great research opportunity for Marine Corps ID'd items collectors.

I've confirmed they work but recommend leaving loose as pulling on the flaps will damage them or the snaps on these 100+ year old covers.
