WW1 Watch Longines Trench watch Silver Case Name engraved working 05-071

Up for sale is this very nice Longines WW1 era trench watch. This watch comes with the shrapnel guard that was found on it. The strap looks old but I would guess it is a replacement. I had the watch looked at by a jeweler, he did not do any work on it so I would suspect the watch needs to be serviced.

The watch is engraved on the back of the outer case 2nd Lieut. The inside of the outer back case is marked 0.935 Sterling silver, it also has the serial number 3208757 which also shows up on the movement and the inner back cover for the movement. The outer back case also has a stamp that appears to be a rampant lion.

The inner back cover on the inside has the markings Longines W. Co Swiss 0.935 Sterling Silver the same Rampant Lion. The same serial number and the number 30 at the 9 O'clock position. It also has inspection/ service marks from jewelers. The movement is marked 3 AdJ, 15 Jewels, the same serial number and Longines W.

It also has an adjustment for faster and slower with other writing under the indicator. Please see all the pictures. If you have questions please ask.
