WWI AEF US Army Cavalry M1904 McClellan Saddle Leather Saddle Bags Dtd 1917

WWI Era AEF US Army M1904 McClellan Saddle - Leather Saddle Bags w/Internal Canvas Liners - Dated 1917 - Excellent Condition. The leather is soft and supple. No rips, tear or cracking of the leather. Some very minor surface cracking on the straps. Nice color, not faded or darkened with age, as you normally find examples of these.

It has all the straps. Each bag contains the internal canvas liners. It has one liner with the untensil pocket and one without, which is correct. The US markings on each bag are CLEARLY visible and not all worn down. It is marked: Long 1917. You will have a very hard time finding another in this condition and complete with internal bag linings. Needed to complete your WWI era US Cavalry Saddle Display.
