WWI Era US Army AEF M1917 Helmet with Complete Liner & Chin Strap. Up for sale is an Original WWI Era US Army AEF M1917 Helmet with liner and chin strap. This helmet shell has the original paint with the original textured finish. The rim is fully intact, not rusting and separating. The helmet has the original paint, no major dings or dents in the helmet.

There are few minor dings in the helmet shell. It is stamped ZJ252 on the underside of the rim. It has the original liner with the netting. It still has the original leather chin strap. The strap is still intact, not broken, as you normally find them.

The leather is soft and supple, with surface cracks in the leather. Please see photos for detail and condition. Check out my other items.
