WWI AEF US Army M1917 Mounted Cavalry Canteen Set - Canteen, Cup & Early Khaki Cover - Dated 1917 & 1918 - Very Nice Condition - RARE. Up for sale is a WWI US Army M1917 Mounted Cavalry Canteen, Cup & Cover Set. This set includes the following. M1917 Mounted Cavalry Canteen Cover, marked: LONG 1917. Nice khaki color, no rips or tears.

Has the ORIGINAL leather strap and hook. Leather is soft and supple, minor surface cracks, no breaks. M1910 Canteen w/2nd type metal lid, Aluminum, marked: L. 1918, Nice Condition, no major dents, a few small dings. M1910 Canteen Cup, Aluminum rolled lip, marked: L. All items are in used, see photo's for Condition. The interior of the cover has all of the insulation present, no signs of tearing. This is the mounted style cover with the leather strap and hook that run through loops around the canteen cover. Some soiling on the Canteen cover. This would make a welcomed addition to any WWI Collection. Check out my other items.
