Wwi Austrian Model 1916 Helmet-wwii German Reissued Transitional

Very good condition and guaranteed original WWI Austrian Model 1916 helmet that was reissued by Germany shortly before WWII and is known as a transitional model. Shell has nice original 1930s German paint showing some light normal wear and a few dings. Complete with original WWII liner and chinstrap that were installed as part of the reissue. Liner is soft and supple with attractive color showing light normal wear. Ink stamped for size 56 and has written H. Leather chinstrap is soft and supple with some normal wear and flaking.

Complete with all hardware, and is maker marked on the tip and dated 1940. A nice, classic helmet that saw issue through both World Wars and will make an excellent addition to your collection.
