Up for sale is WWI AEF US Army M1916 Leather Belt Holster for the Colt M1911 45acp Pistol. This is a vintage old military belt holster.

It is used, see photo's for Condition. The leather is still soft and supple. All the stitching is tight and not fraying. Some minor surface cracks on the flap. It still has the internal leather block.

The leather has darkened somewhat with age, but still retains that rich dark brown color. It has a faint marked US oval logo on the flap and it is marked: BOYT with J. Inspector initials on the rear.

Hard to find these early holsters in this condition. This is a NICE example of a WWI holster. This would make a welcomed addition to any WWI AEF Collection. This item is in the category "Collectibles\Militaria\WW I (1914-18)\Original Period Items\United States\Personal, Field Gear".
