WWI Era US Militaria Framed Poster Print Historical Military Drum Trio Original

For sale is this striking original 1918 World War I propaganda poster print titled "The Same Spirit" by "Chas". It beautifully illustrates the continuity of American fighting spirit from the Revolutionary War (1776, George Washington) to World War I (1917, Woodrow Wilson).

The central image features Uncle Sam playing the fife, flanked by a Navy sailor and Army soldier drumming-directly inspired by Archibald Willard's famous Spirit of'76. Background vignettes highlight German atrocities and events that drew the U.

Into the war: the sinking of the Lusitania, enslavement of Belgium, devastation of France, sinking of the Tuscania, and the "scrap of paper" treaty violation. This powerful patriotic piece was created to rally support for the war effort.
