14 adding in a large map of France that wasn't in the footlocker but came from same house. I researched the map and the same exact map is in some WWI collections so it is likely he used this field map.
It also has a goodyear boot tread mark on it. And alot of grease/grime around where this division fought in the battle of St. Condition wise most items look like they were stored and forgotten for 100 years. Very good to excellent but judge for yourself. Map is not good and bottom of trunk has some damage. This is the most amazing footlocker I've ever seen. This is an absolute stunning surviving time capsule "100 years old"! I hate to part w/ it but its time to let a new caretaker a turn.This is a musuem quality piece and in amazing condition.
