WWI GERMAN 98/05 MAUSER BUTCHER DRESS BAYO-CARL EICKHORN

Very good condition and guaranteed original WWI Imperial German 98/05 Mauser butcher dress bayonet. Blade has original bright finish with some minor spotting.

Remaining metal finish is also nice original bright. Bayonet has early features including high ears and no flash guard. Wood grips have original finish and a good tight fit. Fitted in correct original leather scabbard that has bright metal throat and tip.

Leather shows a little normal wear, stitching is nice and tight. Also complete with correct original leather frog that is soft and supple with some wear and surface cracking. Stitching is nice and tight. Some leather missing above the frog stud hole.
