WWI German 98/05 SAWBACK Bayonet Pack Ohliger 1916

WWI German 98/05 SAWBACK Bayonet made by Pack Ohliger 1916. Outside a bit salty it looks as if it's been through a war!

Outside has dirt, rust and some pitting. Nothing has been done to clean it, other than wipe it off with a dry cloth.

The frog stitching is all tight and intact, but the rivet heads have broken through the outer layer of leather. The scabbard Is dent free.

The wood grips are tightly affixed. There is one small piece of wood gone just below the still working release button.

The blade is shiny, has been sharpened and the saw blade has all it's teeth - that would probably still cut down small trees if necessary. See all photos for best idea of overall condition.
