WWI GERMAN INFANTRY M1915 GASK MASK Gummimaske & CARRY BAG. WW1 German gas mask and bag Model M1915 and was nicknamed the Gummimaske. Gasschutzmaske 1915 also known as a Gummimaske, Linienmaske and Bandmaske. These masks were developed to protect soldiers against deadly chlorine gas and tearing agents. Our reproduction Gas Mask is made of lined canvas with authentic elasticized head harness, authentic lenses and authentic filter. These fit perfectly in a Model 17 Gas Mask Canisters. Our set comes complete with the Model 16 bag and a spare filter.

The bag has two compartments like the original and can be worn on the belt or it has two D-rings to attach to a bread bag strap. Bag is made of grey cotton canvas. Masks come in one size only but will easily fit on most heads (Understand that this is not a guarantee that it will fit you exactly). Please note, these are reproductions and are intended for display purposes only.

They do not provide any protection against smoke or poisonous gas. Colors of mask, tape, filters and stamps/markings may vary. Gas masks became standard issue to German troops in August 1915.
