WWI GERMAN M1915 TORNISTER FIELD BACK PACK. WWI German Army M1895 Tornister BackPack or commonly called the Pony Fur Pack. The M1895 was the standard issue pack for carrying personal kit and rations at the beginning of WWI and was seen used and issued throughout WWI. Packs are constructed with a rigid interior wood frame which is covered with calf skin on both sides, features thick supple leather straps with white stitching and correct metal hardware. Comes complete with adjustable leather shoulder straps. Measures approximently 13" X 5" X 14. Like original examples, fur and leather may vary from picture. BRAND NEW MUSEUM GRADE REPRODUCTION.
