Wwi German M. 15 Pickelhaube Helmet-original-dated 1916

Very good condition WWI Imperial German Prussian army Model 1915 Pickelhaube helmet. Shell, liner, spike, and Prussian eagle wappen are original. Chinstrap and cockades are reproductions.

Leather body has nice form and shows some normal wear, some mild surface cracking and a little flaking. Metal fittings have nice bright finish. The rivet on the right side of the front brim edge is absent. The Prussian eagle has beautiful decal. Leather chinstrap is soft and supple with very little wear.

Chinstrap metal fittings have a few cracks. Original leather liner is soft and supple with some wear. Underside of helmets rear skirt has a 1916 dated corps depot marking.
