WWI GERMAN S98 MAUSER QUILLBACK BAYO-HORSTER 1905-SCARCE FLUTED STEEL SCABBARD

Very good condition and guaranteed original pre WWI German S98 Mauser quillback bayonet that is maker marked E. HORSTER SOLINGEN on the right side blade ricasso and dated 1905 on the spine. Blade has nice original bright finish and was period sharpened. Remaining metal finish is mostly brown. Fitted in scarce original fluted steel scabbard that has original black metal finish showing some normal wear and a few dents. The throat screw is absent.
