Wwi Imperial German Model 1915 Ersatz Pickelhaube Helmet-original

Very good condition WWI Imperial German Model 1915 Pickelhaube helmet that is a rare ersatz example made with a felt body. The chinstrap may be a replacement, otherwise helmet is guaranteed all original. Outside has excellent form and shows normal wear.

Rear brim has a period repair. Spike, brim, and Prussian eagle wappen have nice original gray finish/paint. The eagle has sharp clear detail. Leather chinstrap is soft and supple showing very little wear and is complete with all hardware.

Helmet is complete with guaranteed original cockades-the Prussian colors on the right side and the German national colors on the left. Both have nice original paint.

Helmet is complete with original leather liner that is soft and supple with light normal wear, no damage. Helmet has several faint ink stamped markings under the rear brim.
