WWI IMPERIAL GERMAN MODEL 1916 HELMET With CAMO PAINT

Very good condition and guaranteed original WWI Imperial German Model 1916 helmet. Shell has beautiful, guaranteed original period autumn tortoiseshell pattern camo paint of brown, green, orange, and red blocks with black borders.

Paint shows some normal honest wear, but is still very strong. Skirt of helmet has a battle damaged crack. Liner and chinstrap are absent. One liner rivet is absent, the other two are present.

Helmet is maker marked E. Under the left ear and has German writing under the skirt. A scarce and desirable, guaranteed original WWI German camo helmet that will make a fine addition to your collection and an impressive display piece!
